The LGB 20981 loco comes fully featured with lights, smoke, mfx/dcc decoder including sound. Nevertheless the lightweight and short engine is missing an energy buffer to be a good runner.
The LGB 55429 energy buffer fits best where the factory speaker sits. As the original speaker fits nowhere else (the cab was no option), I built a replacement speaker box which fits in the space behind the firebox/swich-PCB. My box is customised to hold the 28mm speaker of CUI Devices, part CMS-251452-28SP.
