8 speed planetary gearbox type AISIN AWF8F35 used as Stellantis group EAT8 gearbox.
This is a Lepelletier type gearbox with 2 stages.
Parts are grouped by function :
- Print the first stage and assemble
- Print the second stage and assemble
- Print the support
- Mount the 2 stages together on the support
- Print the clutches and mount them between the 2 stages. Clutch 1 inside clutch 3-4 is a bit difficult to engage and disengage.
- Screw an M4x15 into the S1 blocker to avoid S1 rotation (S1 is fixed to gearbox cage).
Check the rotation
Gears ratios are handle turns for 1 turn of output gear :
1st gear : 5:1
2nd gear : 3.2:1
3rd gear : 2:1
4th gear : 1.5:1
5th gear : 1.25:1
6th gear : 1:1
7th gear : 0.833:1
8th gear : 0.66:1
