This handguard extension makes use of spare hardware included with the KM9 Unicorn to install, as well as M3 heat inserts and a suitable ~18x1 (OD x Dia) O-ring.
This is an WIP release insofar that there are currently limited instructions & the model is subject to changes as it updates.
To print, lay everything upright (no supports should be needed)
To prepare the handguard for install,
AT MINIMUM:
1. Add 2x M3 heat inserts in the rear holes (the ones on the prongs)
2. Use 2x spare M3 CSK screws to secure the ‘Barrel Collet’ to the handguard
3. Remove the OEM handguard cap (which has the front sight post) , and replace with the entire handguard assembly
4. Add O-ring over barrel, followed by ‘10mm Spacer’
5. Screw on ‘Barrel Collet Front'
8X Additional M3 heat insert points are available on the handguard at 45mm spacing to mount extra rails.
The slots are sized to accept M-LOK attachments.
M3 nut version coming soon? If M3 heat inserts aren't accessible enough.
