The Modular Paneled Wall System or MPWS is a system that I custom made via TinkerCAD for the sole purpose of being able to store and mount objects on the wall. If you are anything like me, you have found that a lot of the models already on Printables for making easy storage solutions do not allow for much changeability; once it is snapped in place, it is either a chore to undo or it must be broken and reprinted. While they are very ingenious and aesthetically pleasing designs, I found that they didn't allow for things to be moved around. What does one do in this predicament?

The idea for the MPWS was birthed. Inspired by the MOLLE (Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment) system implemented by the military and even civilian markets, I wanted to make a system that was easy to change around without the need for having to print a new part and wasting valuable filament.

The idea is to screw it into the wall via the screw holes on the ends of the mount. Once the piece is secured to a surface, the individual attachments can simply be placed into the open squares and slid down. Securing is as simple as sliding the included peg into the mounting holes.

[ALL ATTACHMENTS SHOULD BE PRINTED WITH SUPPORT]

This will be a continual work in progress so new pieces will come available as I see fit. Please feel free to modify and use according to your individual needs.

Updates:

1/17/2025: Removed both Extension Cord Tray and Extension Cord Tray (Long) as they were not working pieces. Currently working on a replacement.

12/27/2024: Added 3x1 Stackable Plate and 1x3 Vertical Plate. Also designed and added for testing both Extension Cord Tray and Extension Cord Tray (Long).

3/28/2024: Model Created. Dual Hook, Modifiable Piece, Extra Peg and initial Mounting Plate added to page.

1/6/2026: After some time of not updating anything with this project, I have decided to cancel any further development on it. I will however leave it up for anyone who might be interested in still downloading it.
