BTcino Magic Fruit Holder: Parametric Extra Thickness for Hidden Cable Connection

This is an additional thickness for the BTcino Magic fruit holder support, designed for round boxes. It allows connection with concealed cables passing under the socket, thus enabling the addition of an extra socket in another area of the room. The model is parametric and can be adapted to various box and duct sizes.

Note for future remixers:

Some points may require improvements, but for my current use, this model is sufficient. If force is applied, the socket may rotate as the base box is round. The shape of the teeth that engage with the box could be improved. Additionally, the entire thickness has the same dimensions as the fruit holder support, but I believe it would be more aesthetically pleasing to have greater width and height dimensions, adapting with a "loft" between the wall and the socket.

What to buy:

Two M3 bolts of 30 mm with nuts.

Instructions:

Print the 3mf file which already has the parts positioned, or the individual stl files. Remember to set custom supports as indicated in the figure.

1. Remove the supports. They are a bit difficult, use pliers to help.
2. Make sure the screw moves freely without needing to be screwed in. It may be necessary to widen the channel where the screw will be inserted.
3. There are two supports for the nuts that need to be securely fitted. Heat the nut and press it with the bolt screwed in. Make sure the nut does not move in its seat, otherwise it may be difficult to screw or unscrew the electrical socket from the wall.
4. Next, insert the support containing the nut into the toothed tower and then the toothed tower into its housing. Insert and partially screw in the screw. Make sure the tower slides smoothly into its seat. Do not forget to mount the fruit holder support.
5. Finally, make the necessary electrical connections, insert the two towers into the wall box, and screw them in.

Nota per i futuri remix

Alcuni punti potrebbero richiedere miglioramenti, ma per il mio utilizzo attuale, questo modello è sufficiente.
Se viene applicata forza, la presa può ruotare poiché la scatola di base è rotonda. Si potrebbe migliorare la forma dei denti che si agganciano alla scatola.
Inoltre, l'intero spessore ha le stesse dimensioni del supporto portafrutti, ma ritengo che sarebbe più esteticamente gradevole avere una larghezza e un'altezza maggiori, adattandosi con un "loft" tra il muro e la presa.

Cosa acquistare

Istruzioni

Stampa il file 3mf che ha già i pezzi posizionati, oppure i singoli file stl. Ricordati di impostare i supporti personalizzati come indicato in figura.

1. Rimuovi i supporti. Sono un po' difficili, aiutati con una tronchese.
2. Assicurarsi che la vite scorra liberamente senza dover essere avvitata. Potrebbe essere necessario allargare il canale in cui verrà inserita la vite.
3. Ci sono due supporti per i dadi che devono essere incastrati con forza. Riscalda il dado e premilo con il bullone avvitato. Assicurarsi che il dado non si muova nella sua sede, altrimenti potrebbe essere difficile avvitare o svitare la presa elettrica dal muro.
4. Successivamente, inserire il supporto contenente il dado nella torre dentata e quindi la torre dentata nel suo alloggiamento. Infila ed avvita la vite parzialmente. Assicurarsi che la torre scorra senza intoppi nella sua sede. Non dimenticare di montare il supporto portafrutti.
5. Infine, effettuare i collegamenti elettrici necessari, infilare le due torri nella scatola a muro e avvitare.
