Paul's MMU3 Cassette Compatible Buffer is an amazing model to replace the buffer that comes with the MMU3 unit.
There were two issues I had with the original model that my adjustments aim to improve upon:
- The L bracket in the original did not have the correct clearance near the top right Z-axis cap. My updated bracket includes the needed clearance so this model can fit. I recommend attaching the Buffer Cassette Holder Top part to the L bracket before installation. The screw holes are difficult to access once installed onto the printer with the additional clearances.
- The Buffer Skirt upper has been updated so that the slots are closer to the cassettes for the MMU3 Cassettes (Version B). The original was designed for Version A which was closer to 110mm in height, while Version B is only about 92mm total. Note: Please utilize Paul's original design if you need one for Version A specifically.
