Here is the full collection of Pentomino Tiles.
Pentominos are the geometric shapes composed of FIVE squares connected orthogonally in a 2D plane. They are one square bigger than the pieces used in Tetris, which as known as Tetroninoes.
One-Sided Pentominoes allow for rotation [in the plane] and translation, but not reflection.
More specifically these are the 12 'Free' Pentominoes. If you consider reflections as distinct tiles, then there are 18 one-sided Pentominoes.
I've included all 'Free' Pentominoes here. To obtain the full set, print two copies or duplicate and flip the P, Q, R, S, Y & Z shapes.
Each of the twelve pentominoes satisfies the Conway criterion; hence, every pentomino is capable of tiling an infinite plane.
What to print:
One of each shape:
1 x Pentomino - O Tilestl
1 x Pentomino - P Tile.stl
1 x Pentomino - Q Tile.stl
1 x Pentomino - R Tile.stl
1 x Pentomino - S Tile.stl
1 x Pentomino - T Tile.stl
1 x Pentomino - U Tile.stl
1 x Pentomino - V Tile.stl
1 x Pentomino - W Tile.stl
1 x Pentomino - X Tile.stl
1 x Pentomino - Y Tile.stl
1 x Pentomino - Z Tile.stl
The models do not need supports and can be printed with standard settings. Advanced printers may want to iron the top surface to create a smoother look to the puzzle pieces.
These models are TILEs, not cubes, they are about a third of the height of the cubic models I've uploaded, but the same length and width - so they'd fit onto the game boards if printed at 100% scale. If you scale any model, please remember the scaling factor and apply it to all models if you'd like them to be compatible.
How To Play:
Rotate and flip the tiles so they tile into a rectangle. The following rectangles can be made:
6 x 10
5 x 12
4 x 15
3 x 20
Have fun and see if you can make the rectangle and how many different ways you can find to arrange them!
