This is a replacement chest strap clip for Osprey backpacks. I made this for a friend, whose original snapped during adjustment. I redesigned it to be a little thicker to account for 3d printing not being as strong as injection parts. When printed in PC, I was able to lift a backpack loaded with 30 lbs of weight on the single clip, which is far more than it should see in daily use.
I've included the fusion model in case you want to adjust fitment. During weight testing, I found that if you open up the rail opening width, the whole clip can pull away from the rail instead of the slot section breaking under load. This may be preferable for you as you can just slide the clip back on and be back in business. I haven't battle tested this model for crazy adjustments, so no promises it will fully adjust to what you need, but simple adjustments like clearances should work fine.
This is intended to be printed on the flat of the curved section with a brim and no supports.
