Motivation
This 3D model was designed to facilitate a more ergonomic connection between a portable AC's corrugated pipe and the recuperator hole. The goal was to achieve a comfortable angle, thereby conserving the length of the pipe and ensuring a more space efficient setup.
Design Highlights
The model has been engineered to be resource-efficient, reducing the amount of filament needed. Internal structure allows the model to be self-supporting.
While slicing you have to add support only for horizontal part.
Printing recommendations
- Nozzle Size: 0.4 mm
- Layer Height: 0.2 mm
- Layer Width: 0.4 mm
- Infill Pattern: Any (recommended density: 15%)
Material Considerations
Please select your printing material based on the operational temperature conditions. PLA is not suitable for high-temperature applications as it may melt and deform. PETG is recommended for its higher melting point and durability, which I have found to perform well in my experience.
