This is my first modification version for the Meilong. It consists of replacing the original core with a modified core and adding supports for placing magnets on the corner pieces.
In the modified core, two (2x) 4x2mm neodymium magnets should be placed per hole, glued with cyanoacrylate adhesive. I printed it in PLA, but tougher filaments can be used. I recommend printing with a 0.4mm or smaller nozzle.
For the corner pieces, I printed them with a 0.2mm nozzle, due to their small size and detailing. Two 3x3mm magnets should be placed in these.
For the edge pieces, it's not possible to modify them with 3D printing. If you wish to add magnets to these pieces, a Dremel should be used to create a cavity for fitting. I used 4x2mm magnets.
In the future, I plan two new versions, one that fits the original core, and another with 20 magnets.
