Stackable Gridfinity bins and a template filament sample card.
Sample Bins
The Gridfinity sample bins are stackable for easy storage in drawers.
- 1x2x6 bin that fits 10 filament sample cards.
- 2x2x6 bin that fits 21 filament sample cards.
Sample Card Template
The sample card size is 35 x 70 mm and it contains a examples in 0.2, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8, 1.0, 1.2 & 1.4 mm thickness to show the translucent effects of the filament.
The text of the sample card can be added in Prusa Slicer.
- Open Filament Sample Card.stl in PrusaSlicer.
- Zoom in to the sample card using the middle scroll wheel of the mouse and then press [1] (numeric key 1) on the keyboard to rotate the view to a straight top down view.
- Right click in the upper left part of the sample card and select Add part:Text from the context menu.
- In the Emboss panel, enter the sample information text you want to include.
- Select a font such as Arial Rounded MT Bold
- Select Height 6.0 mm (or similar)
- Select Depth 0.6 mm
- Click Advanced to expand the advanced section of the Emboss panel.
- Select Alignment Left & Top for easy positioning of the text.
- If you lose the text/the Emboss panel disappears, click on the corresponding object in the list of objects in the middle of the right side panel.
