This model is intended to be printed in two parts, the front and back are held together with M2.5 screws. The Anderson Powerpoles can be attached with additional screws or scrap filament for a cheap solution.
The face plate is intended to protrude slightly from the cover, this is standard to the “Decorator” style outlets. Print the face plate in the color you want to match your cover. The back can be whatever color since it is not visible.
This model was designed in openscad, the file is provided to allow for customization and alteration. The customizer options allow for 1 to 6 plugs, flush or proud.
I started with trying to make a "Keystone Jack" for an Anderson Powerpole but found it was just about the size of the "Keystone Jack" which makes the result too fragle to be practical. The followup design was using what is known as a "Designer" face plate. This allows more space to add different jacks without the restrictions of a "Keystone Jack" size.
