Deckchair wheel repair

It's time to prepare summer. Doing it last weekend I discovered that one of the wheel of one of my old deckchair was damaged. It wasn't possible to securely repair it using glue and as usual no way to find replacement or a cheap part that can fit. So I decided, as very often in such a case, to design and 3D printed it.

Design

Parts have been designed using Fusion 360 (See attached .f3d file). I redesigned the wheel to make it easy to print so it now made of 2 parts. The wheel itself and a spacer

I took opportunity to design and print as well the axis as there are in a very bad state afters years outside 

Printing instructions

All part have been printed in Prusament PETG. Both Axis and spacer have been printed on my Prusa MINI+

Due to wheel size (21cm diameter) it cannot be printed on my MINI+. I printed it on the MK3S+ located at the Fab Lab at work

I use PrusaSlicer standard parameters with 3 perimeters and by increasing a bit the infill

I printed 1st version of the axis vertically which is not the best option for the strength of the part. And as expected the part was broken very quickly.  

SO I printed it horizontally with support for better strengh

Axis is much stronger now and should last longer 

On top of .stl and .3mf files, I uploaded Fusion 360 .f3d file so you can modify the design and adapt it to your needs
