Flourish Lamp

The Flourish Lamp is a lamp shade and base with soft pleats that gently twist along the lamp's height, beautifully capturing the light. Designed in two parts, you can easily twist to remove the shade to change the bulb.

How it works

1. Purchase your preferred pendant fixture type. Two options are available but only one is required.

2. Print the STL or 3MF files using the provided PDF guide.

3. Install the bulb, twist the shade onto the base, and plug it in. Enjoy!

Features

  • 1x 4-9W E26/E27 LED Bulb (Max 2.5”/6.5cm diameter).

  • 1x Pendant Light Fixture (Threaded 40mm or Smooth 37mm - Pendant Light Cord Lamp Kit - Amazon.com. JACKYLED 12ft pendant light - Amazon.com).

  • Recommended filament: PLA or PETG for the shade and base, TPU for the optional feet.

 Instructions

1. Shade

   1. Print using spiral vase mode with 4 bottom layers. Confirm your slicer updated related settings to the following:

      1. Spiral Vase: enabled (the name may vary based on the software)

      2. Top Layers: 0

      3. Bottom Layers: 4 (3 layers if printing 0.32mm layer height)

      4. Infill: 0%

      5. Perimeters: 1

2. Base Variant 1: Threaded Fixture

   1. Print without supports using your preferred settings. My preferred settings:

      1. Perimeters: 3

      2. Top Solid Layers: 5

      3. Infill Fill Density: 10%

      4. Infill Fill Pattern: Gyroid

   2. There are 2 variants, with and without a negative cavity for the feet

3. Base Variant 2: Smooth-Walled Fixture

   1. Use the same settings as the Threaded Fixture

   2. Requires a threaded collar to tighten the base around the fixture. A secure fit requires a tight tolerance. I prefer to print it separately from the base using the same slicer settings.

   3. Insert the smooth-walled fixture so that it extends 2 - 5mm (1/8 - 1/4in) above the base (as shown in the photos)

   4. Thread on the collar until tight. The collar is tight if the fixture remains secure when screwing in the light bulb.

4. TPU feet, Optional

   1. Print in TPU to protect your surfaces and add grip.

   2. To insert the feet into the base, align the foot, then press the base and foot against a tabletop.
