In the process of building the V2 Spacemouse (https://www.printables.com/model/864950-open-source-spacemouse-space-mushroom-remix), I needed something to help give some weight to the base. I designed this box to hold 6 10mm steel balls to give a bit more weight to the spacemouse.
50mm L x 25mm W x 14mm H
Includes passthrough holes for small zip ties; the passthroughs on the bottom of the box are indented to give a flush surface on that side even when tied.
Lid should friction fit, but you can always glue it or rely on the zip ties to hold it in place. I've provided two versions of the box itself, one with dividers to keep the steel balls from rolling around and one without dividers if you don't mind the clacking or want to use something different to provide the weight.
No supports needed.
