I found this and some similar designs of Golf MK2's and wanted to make a gift for some friends of mine who recently bought one each (GL and CL).
The original model was nice but I wanted to make it fit into a frame and got carried away with the design. I added in some text with the original Volkswagen font (VW Headline OT if anyone wants to know) and thought to myself ‘yes that's more like it.’ (yes I'm that guy)
Anyways I thought some of y'all might like this so here y'all go.
Since this is only a prototype it's one size atm (15x20cm) but I'll surely add some more standard sizes along the way.
Print instructions:
| Layer height: | 0.2mm (0.2mm first layer) |
| Color Swap: | After layer 3 |
Things to play around with:
| Walls/Perimeters: | Any, 1-3 looks best |
| Top/Bottom Pattern: | Lines, concentric, zig zag, optionally monotonic |
To-do List:
- Rework the GOLF & MK2 lettering
- Edit it down to different sizes (13x18cm)
