This is a remix of the original RAK Meshtastic Starter Kit - No Additional Hardware Case which swaps out the mounting design for the PCB antenna with a mount that can be used for an IPEX/u.FL to SMA antenna cable. Using this antenna mount may reduce the available interior space for batteries, but your mileage may vary.
Print with the cover's top face on the bed, there's not a whole lot of bridging needed between the reliefs and should print fine on any well-tuned printer.
I use a cable that has an 8mm hex profile on the base of the SMA. The 2mm thickness of the profile fits flush on the inside of the case, however the cable itself can cause some fitment issues with a battery, if included.
Assembly will need some flex of the case covers to get the top on, since you won't be able to slide the cover with the cable in the way. It's not difficult with some gentle persuasion.
