Introducing an easy-to-craft electric turntable, designed specifically to be built with components from the "Maker's Supply" category in the Bambu Lab online shop. This turntable allows you to showcase your 3D prints in style, with adjustable speed and an on/off switch for added convenience. The total material cost is approximately €25.
Features:
- Adjustable Speed and On/Off Switch: Customize the rotation speed to your preference.
- No Soldering Required: All parts connect using simple connectors, making this project accessible to a wider audience.
- Perfect Fit for X1C/P1S Print Bed with LED Illumination Compatibility: The turntable is designed to fit perfectly on the print bed of Bambu Lab's X1C and P1S printers. When combined with the LED mod, your prints will be perfectly lit, as shown in the provided image.
- Support-Free Printing: Designed to be printed without supports for a clean finish.
- Simple Assembly: The battery box needs to be assembled using cyanoacrylate (super glue). Attach the screw mounts to the battery box, then glue the box to the base. Use glue sparingly for a quick and easy assembly process.
- Smooth Rotation: The turntable uses three 608ZZ bearings, ensuring smooth and reliable rotation.
Assembly Instructions:
- Print all parts using the provided 3MF files for the best precision, especially for rounded parts. Prefer the 3MF file marked with "OrcaSlicer" as it includes the print configuration used for the original model. STL files are also provided as an alternative.
- Attach the screw mounts to the battery box using a small amount of cyanoacrylate.
- Glue the battery box to the base. Ensure the glue is applied sparingly for a neat and efficient bond.
- Insert the three 608ZZ bearings into their designated slots for smooth rotation.
- Connect the components using the provided connectors, eliminating the need for soldering.
- Insert the batteries and test the turntable's functionality by adjusting the speed and using the on/off switch.
Print Settings:
- Material: PLA or your preferred filament.
- Layer Height: 0.16mm
- OrcaSlicer Settings: Enable "Precise wall" to ensure everything fits together perfectly and the screw holes are accurately formed. This setting is crucial as the design has minimal tolerances for a snug and perfect fit.
