Slider to hide powerboard in your tabletop or shelf.
It fits a Bachmann Primo Alu powerboard with 6 outlets.
It consists of a cap, sleeve with bracket and a stopper.
The cap replaces the original one. Use the same screws to fix it.
There is a rivet on the side for ground. This needs to be removed.
The stopper prevents the board from sliding back in. It replaces the two spacers.
To remove the spacers, unscrew the black screw and the two silver ones and slide the endcap out. Pull the rest out from the aluminium body, until the spacers come loose. Slide the rest back in with the stopper part.
Use the .dxf file as a cutout template for the tabletop/shelf.
The sleeve should fit snug into the cutout. On the underside, fix the bracket with 4 wood screws.
In the holes on the side of the bracket, I pressed in M4 thread inserts to hold the sleeve in place.
Note: The fit is thight and it takes some force to pull the board out. I need to redesign the cap to be able to apply more force.
