Designers original has all the right stuff for a great replacement spindle for a Black and Decker Trimmer, except the spring from my old spindle doesn't fit the design when printed.
To avoid ordering and buying a new spring, I resized the center mount in the spindle to a 17mm outside diameter. Fits my old spring and trimmer perfectly.
Thanks to the original Brandon Ledger design for the replacement spindle cap I needed, and that I could make fit my existing spring with just a tweak in size.
I printed using burnt orange PLA, but will reprint in PETG for a little better wear when this one wears out.
