18v quad adapter compatible with Ryobi 18v

Updated 04/07/2026 v2.3 has a notch and tabs that help with bed adhesion so the corners do not lift, these should be cut away with a knife after printing.

Allows for the use of two or four Ryobi 18v batteries to power fans, speakers, lights, and some inverters for increased runtime.

Suggested print settings:
 - 0.20mm QUALITY
 - Prusament PETG (pictured using OVERTURE PETG Grass Green)
 - Infill density 20%
 - Infill pattern Cubic
 - 3 Perimeters
 - Supports required

       …only need Qty.2 diodes when building the 40v output version
Qty.4 of M4-0.7 x 16mm Socket head cap screws
Qty.4 of M4-0.7 x 14mm Socket head cap screws
Qty.1 of Velcro or poly strap (add hot-glue to the indent underneath to secure the strap)
Qty.1 of PowerPole 45amp connector and pin set

** Screw connection is required - do NOT super-glue these parts together!

Wire the quad adapter to the part below using at least 14AWG.

…the batteries are wired in parallel with diodes on the + terminal of each battery.

If building the 40v output version you also need to print:

…two batteries are wired in series, each set is then wired in parallel with diodes on the + connection of each set.

NOTE: Always use 18v batteries that are at the same Ah rating and the same level of charge. The BMS built into all Ryobi 18v batteries will still provide a safe low voltage cut-off when the batteries are used in series or parallel to power a tool.

NOTE: Never try to charge multiple 18v Ryobi Li-Ion batteries in any charger as damage to the BMS is possible. Charge the 18v batteries individually in approved chargers.
