Landroid Shelter

I needed a printable design to work with 10mm double wall pvc sheets and steel brackets that I already had on hand. I also needed the design to facilitate printing both pillars from one full spool of filament and fit on the print bed in one go.

This project includes the side pillars to hold the sheeting for the shelter and trim to finish off the cut edges.

You also need: 

• 2 x 60mm x 90 mm metal brackets to make it stand properly over the Landroid base station. 
• 1 piece of Double walled PVC sheeting of around 650 x 650mm

Below the brackets I used for mounting the assembly to the floor.

The barcodes on the plates I have were different from two vendors it seems, but the same supplier and part number.

And here is a view of the double walled PVC sheet during assembly. 
 

In order to facilitate the curving I tried a heat gun, but I ended up cutting the material on the inner wall with a utility knife to facilitate the curving.
