I had a bunch of 15mm magnets (they are something like .7mm thin) and wanted a stud finder to use some of them. I found that with eight of these thin magnets I was able to get them to find a screw and stay on through normal US drywall (½" thick).
I added in marks on the sides and ends so you know where the magnets center lines are. The picture is what it looks like when you print it in sport mode on the Bambu P1S- functional but it isn't pretty.
