Variants

Currently the model is available in four different diameters. (60mm, 80mm, 100mm, 120mm).

with various lengths for both halves of the container.

Available Lengths (in mm):

• Type A (external threads):  40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100, 125, 150, 175, 200
• Type B (internal threads): 45, 50, 55, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100, 125, 150, 175, 200

The Parts are Identified using a code specifying the nominal dimensions.

Printing

Recommended Materials

• Container Halves (A-D???L??? / B-D???L???): PETG / PLA
• Seal (S-D???): Printing in a flexible Material is required

General Tips

Fuzzy Skin for increased grip

Use the “Fuzzy-Skin” Setting to optionally to make the surface less slippery. The container can still be open and closed, even when wet, without the Fuzzy-Skin Option.

NOTE: I have consciously decided against modeling some type of knurling pattern in CAD, because this would tend to quickly lead to huge file sizes. (especially for *.stl files).

Tips for Making it Watertight

• increase extrusion multiplier
• increase printing temperature
• Replace the Seal with a non-3D-Printed one
  • Outer_Diameter = Nominal_Diameter - 4mm
  • Inner_Diameter = Nominal_Diameter - 16mm
  • Thickness > 2.2mm

Beware that the print quality of the threads does not decrease too much.
