The Exshtender, Premium Edition

Executive Summary

• The major difference is that the Premium Edition raises the shelf (and your siddur) about twice as high as the regular Exshtender™
  • To do this, it adds a second piece, the arm that raises the other edge of the shelf as well
• The Premium Edition also has two feet – the second foot engages when it is “folded” to give the same performance as the regular Exshtender™

Modes

There are five configurations (described below).  The pictures should be in this same order:

• This is how the Shtender looks immediately after installing the Premium Exshtender™, also known as the “L” Exshtender™
• If you fold the shelf, it does not fold all the way, but stops at a slightly increased angle
• If you lift the back of the shelf and move the arm that is inside the storage compartment into the upright position, you get the exact same effect as using the Regular Exshtender™
• If you attach the “Arm” Exshtender™ to the back of the shelf, and extend it, the shelf will be horizontal, but higher than normal
  • Note: the arm has two similar feet because the back wall comes in two different thicknesses, depending on when you bought your Kibbutz Lavi Synagogue Seating System.  Use the one that is a snug fit
• The you lift the front of the shelf, the “L” Exshtender™ will swing into it's fully position, giving you the maximum height extension of the shelf
