Tapping arms keep taps level and supported. I designed this model specifically for using small taps, as small as m1, that will almost certainly break if used by hand.

My smallest test with this tool was a m1 tap, which requires a .85mm hole. For me thats the smallest thing ive ever tapped and I cant imagine myself going smaller any time soon.

m5 bolt, 16mm, x4
m6 coupling nut x4
m6 threaded rod, 180mm length
m6 threaded rod, 185mm length
m6 nut x2
m6 bolt, 110mm x2
lmu8 8mm linear bearing
8mm rod/ shaft, 10cm (adjust to your liking!)
handle material, I drilled a hole in the shaft and used 4mm rod, no one right way to do this
chuck of choice, I use a er16 colet chuck
2mm rod, 20mm lengths x3
