I needed a new bracket to hang the filament runout sensor on for my Ai3M. Sized perfectly and snaps together in PETG.

After building the Lack Enclosure for my Anycubic Mega S, and top-mounting the filament holder, I decided to move the filament runout sensor to the top of the enclosure instead of disabling it. The tolerance is just loose enough that the filament easily pivots the sensor as a roll pays off.
Hardware used:
2x M3 heatset threaded inserts
2x M3x18 BHC Screws
2x #12 Wood Screws
Printing Settings:
Material: PETG
Perimeters: 3
Infill: 50%
Orientation: Print the pivot plate as shown, otherwise the tabs will break too easily.
Installation:
Important! It will be difficult to screw down if you pre-install the sensor. Install the sensor last.
- Install the 2x threaded inserts on the pivot plate.
- Press the pivot plate into the L bracket.
- Mount to your enclosure.
- Install the filament sensor on the pivot plate. (The filament sensor holes are asymmetric, and the pivot plate matches this. Check your orientation when you install it. The outer edges of the sensor and the pivot plate should line up.)
