Since eSun stopped putting their filament on reuseable spools (at least last time I checked) I took the one I had and reverse-modeled it and added a couple of tweaks.
Features:
- Works with TUSH-style spool holders and ones that hold the spool by the center
- Easily taken apart
- Works with my favorite (local) filament Proto-pasta because they use cardboard spools
- Sturdy but designed with cutouts so that there's less filament used
- I added holes along the edge to hold the filament end. The original design only had one, I made 6
- Easily printed as two parts without supports.
Included is the Fusion file.
I'm planning a future version that uses a captive nuts also maybe I'll make a version that only uses 1 bolt…
