Thrustmaster wheelbase to 6x70mm adapter

Hello! I've done this on my thrustmaster T500RS, but it should fit all the “lower cost” thrustmaster wheelbase such as T300 and others.

Either minor or major disassembly is required depending on your goal. In both cases it is needed to drill out 5mm hole in the aluminum shaft and thread it (you can use the adapter as a template). On the T500RS it is probably not needed to take off the paddle shifters but i want to install blinker lever so I took that off too. There is also a hole in the adapter that is suitable for fishing cables (like from a horn) through.

For the wheel I used M6 bolts so the slots on the back of the adapter fit M6 nuts.

I recommend printing it from PETG with 5 perimeters and 50% infill. With these settings it holds up well.

The outer diameter of the shaft is 28mm and the inner diameter of the model is 28.25mm so it is good idea to make sure, that your printer will achieve at least 28.10mm to ensure the adapter will fit and also measure that the shaft is in fact 28mm (mine is but I don't own every model of every thrustmaster wheelbase so it is good idea to measure just to make sure).

Minor disassembly:

You can only take off the adapter from thrustmaster but be careful of the four screws that hold the adapter to the aluminum shaft, mine were slightly corroded (probably some thread locker was used too) so I snapped two of them. Which is no issue for me because I don't plan on switching back to the factory adapter.

Major disassembly :

I wanted to use the wheel connector separately of the wheel (essentially a take out the pcb from the original wheel and use it as a side panel) so I needed to take the base casing off to access the cable connector, disconnect it and take it out. This is NOT required to install this adapter.
