Ruger BX-25 Shell for Logos (revised)

This is a basic shell for the BX-25 magazine.  It is just a cover.  Add your own logos and have fun with different colors.  I will have some remixes with logos.  

Since the BX-25 is a big magazine I tried to make it as thin as possible so the magazine isn't that much bigger.  It should not affect magazine function but test it before using it in an SD situation.

Print in PLA PLUS or better.  Do not use regular PLA or it will break.  There is some tension on this so that it doesn't slide around on the magazine.

After printing be careful removing supports near the lower sides by the pegs. The pegs help to hold it on the magazine by sticking into the lower screw holes in the mag.

Make sure the two pegs inside the shell halves are clear of any residue/supports etc..  The left hand shell peg has a hole in the middle.  Make sure that is clear. 

To assemble you will need two M3-25 or 30 screws for the upper holes and one M3-35 Screw for the bottom hole (depends on how it prints on your printer).  Use round hex head screws and three M3 nuts.  The nuts can go in either side in the latest version (the old version they only work in the left shell).   Before you put it on the mag you need to “seat” the nuts.  Take one side of the shell and use a screw to “pull” the nut into the hole (see picture)  Tighten the nut so the nut pulls down into the plastic below the surface.  Don't over tighten. The ring around the nut in the plastic may crack, but it won't affect anything.  After the three nuts are in the one side, put the two halves on the mag making sure the pegs go in at the bottom.  Then put the screws in and tighten.  Don't over tighten it.  There may be a slight gap in the back.
