Description
The Titan 3C model is a highly detailed 1:200 scale reproduction of the US Army rocket used between the 60s and 80s.. The model consists of several pieces printed separately, which are easy to print and assemble.
The finished model dimensions are approximately 23cm high and 5cm wide.
This model is a version of the Titan 3C, it is the Titan 3C MOL for Manned Orbiting Laboratory
Printing
- There are 73 to print, the total printing time for the entire model is approximately 7 hours.
- Some parts have WarmWhite in their name, but you can also use white, light orange or light brown.
Choosing your configuration kit.
There are multiple configuration kits available for this model, depending on your printing and assembly preferences. (The download files contain what is needed for each configuration.)

Assembly and Printing Guide
- You can use the assembly guide published on Instructables to help you assemble the Titan 3C.
Tips
Settings
- For infill, 10% is sufficient for a decorative object, and you can also use "Lightning" infill settings.
- For some parts the supports will be necessary, see the assembly guide and impressions.
- For the base, it is recommended to print with 3 perimeters to avoid visible infill.
- If some parts are loose or don't fit, you can change the scale by +/- 1% in the slicer to get a better fit.
Printing
- For a better final result, I recommend printing the Jonction_Block last so that you can adjust their size according to your print and have a better fit during assembly.
- Follow the printing guide published on Instructables.
Post Printing
- You may need to sand the junction areas between the parts for a smoother finish.
- Additionally, I recommend using glue for better strength and durability.
- Follow the assembly guide published on Instructables.
Technical names
- MOL: Abbreviation for Manned Orbiting Laboratory.
- SRM: Abbreviation for Solid Rocket Motor, the SRMs are the two boosters on either side of the launcher.
- IS: Interstage, the interstage is the stage that serves as the junction between two stages, and also serves to "hide" the engines of the upper stage.
- Transtage: The Transtage is the name of the last stage used to bring payloads into orbit.
- 3A-1: Titan 3C first stage name
- 3A-2: Name of the second stage of the Titan 3C
- Gemini: This is the name of the capsule used to transport humans.
- Laboratory: This is the main block of the mission, the aim of which was to put a laboratory into orbit.
- Engine_Section: I use the term Engine_Section for the parts that make up the engine blocks.
- S1 / S2 / S3 / S4 / S5: These are the sections of the booster. I've used these terms to simplify the names of the parts.
