If you have kids and they have pet fish, you will probably need this design at some point. Sometimes children want to express their love for their pet by having a small service and burying them in the yard. This box can be an ideal solution.
I created this small box as a cross between a traditional coffin and fish shapes. It is large enough for most small goldfish, betas, etc. I've also included the Fusion 360 file if you want to modify or resize the box (and the design does use parameters to make that easy).
The sample shown in the photos was printed with AMOLEN PLA Tigerwood filament. It gives a nice multicolor wood appearance. I also coated it with some gloss sealant to get a bit of a shine from the outside of the box. When printing, you don't need any supports for the main box, but you should enable supports for the lid.
There are 3 holes in the lid where you can secure to the main body. In my example I used M3 threaded inserts and M3 Socket Cap screws, but you could also use simple wood or dry wall screws to secure the lid in place.
