This 3D model was inspired by "La baguette" by YY Vertical (https://www.yyvertical.com/products/la-baguette-poutre-escalade).
Dimensions
- The model size is 40 mm wide x 430 mm long x 40 mm height
- I used 6 mm rope.
The hangboard have 4 fingers pockets of 15mm and 20mm.
Print settings :
40% infill, supports are optional.
Optional: Fussy skin (I use PrusaSlicer)
For a better grip, you can use fuzzy skin. To tell the slicer exactly where to apply the fuzzy skin, I've created modifiers. Simply import them by right-clicking => Add modifier => Load => Select the corresponding modifier. Then right-click on the modifier in the right-hand panel => Add setting => Fuzzy Skin => Tick Fuzzy Skin. Finally, click on Fussy Skin in the right-hand panel and select "All walls".
NB: You can also use the .3mf files directly, which contain the fuzzy skin modifiers.
Assembly
I used 6x 5mm-diameter filleted rods for the fittings :
- 4 rods 430 mm long
- 2 rods 70 mm long
Filler rods and 3D print are bonded with epoxy
