I created these wall-mounted vacuum attachment organizers so that I could change out the attachment mounts to adapt to my needs, and evolve my setup as the sizes and types of attachments change while I further explore woodworking and tools. Plus I was tired of digging through a bin to find the exact attachment I needed. Please like and download so I can get some free filament :)
Features:
- The ability to print only the mounting inserts you need, and not the ones you don't.
- Tapered dovetails provide a secure fit, but are still easily swappable between mounting positions.
- Moveable inserts to adjust to different sized attachments.
- Easy to read emboss so you know exactly what each mount is for.
- Now you can proudly display your vacuum attachments for the whole world to see.
2 options for the Wall Mount Base:
- Single top row of dovetails
- Double top and bottom rows of dovetails
Attachment Inserts:
**The STLs labeled “Upside Down” just have the front text rotated 180 degrees so that they are legible when mounted on the bottom of the double-row mounting base**
- Festool 27 mm Insert - This fits festool products like their vacuum brushes, etc. that are made for their 27mm vacuum hose.
- Festool 27 mm Adapter Insert - This fits 27mm festool hose adapters that are commonly shared and 3D printed. For example, a 27mm to 2-½ inch adapter.
- Air Tip - This fits milwaukee AirTip vacuum attachments
- 1-7/8 Inch - This fits standard 1-7/8" vacuum attachments
Blank DoveTails:
I've also included the blank dovetail bases fusion 360 files so that you can create your own inserts based on your specific attachment. There is a “3 dove tail blank base” for smaller diameter mounts, and a “4 dove tail blank base” for larger ones like 1-7/8" and up.
Slicing:
- Bambulab Matte PLA
- 3 wall loops
- 0.2mm layer height
- 10% 3D hexagon infill
- Main mount is printed on its back (the part that mounts to the wall lies flat on the plate)
- The inserts are printed right side up and do require supports, I used normal supports on the build plate only.
There are a lot of attachment sizes I do not personally own, if you have a request for a specific size, please feel free to ask and I'll try and make a version for you (time allowing).
