I got tired of messy fiberglass for some small epoxy repair jobs around the garage…
These meshes work well for medium-duty epoxy repairs. The final strength won't match continuous fiber repairs, but this makes for less mess and can be customized to match the repair at hand. Obvious the stronger the print material, the stronger the final repair will be!
I printed at 0.12 layer height to get a very thin two layer final output.
The final prints are very thin and can be trimmed, folded, and heat-formed as needed to help fit the job.
