The PeliPc 1470 is my initial design for creating a series of parts that allow PC builders to take mini itx components and put them into a Pelican Case. The novelty with this design however is the inclusion of the battery, being able to power the desktops components with a large lithium pack. This design was used for about 2 years while I was in college, and has gained a lot of interest both from other students as well as online! This initial design's goal with ease of function, while still retaining the structural integrity and waterproof-ness of the Pelican case. This introduces some funky work-arounds, which are functional but definitely not aesthetically pleasing.
Additionally, the size constraints of the 1470 sized case prevents any cards beyond the Nvidia XX60 single fans from being used, at roughly 170mm left for the GPU (a few additional mm may be permitted with the use of flush display cords).
The print is fairly simple, consisting of flat plates that are then adhered to the case. The download includes an instruction set to help guide you through the build-out process of the PC and get you start on your own setup! Including a basic BOM. However you can anticipate to spend around $400 more than your mini ITX components on the display and batteries (unless you build your own battery pack), along with sorted cables and other odds and ends
