Hi there!
I bought the BatSafe to safely store and charge my batteries. However fiddling more than one power & balancer cable through the lid always ended up in a huge mess of cables and was really inconvenient to use.
I then started only using the BatSafe for storage, and not for charging. Which was ver annoying to me, as I'm aware the biggest danger of a lipo fire is during charging / discharging of the battery. I always wanted a more convenient solution.
Then I stumbled across the design of @Krhom on a Discord server that we're both on. This pointed me in the right direction, I especially loved the design of the top that I copied from him. The rest is a full redesign, as my design-approach is a bit different.
This design is focused on convenience, not only for later usage but also during printing and putting everything together.
It provides you with easy access to the balance-plug as well as an XT30 and XT60 for each channel.
I personally did set up each channel separated to charge them independent from each other, as parallel charging never felt right to me.
Putting it together is pretty straight forward. You'll need some M2 screws (>6mm length) to mount everything together. I then used Power-Strips to mount it to the bottom of the BatSafe.Wiring is a bit annoying - but the end result is well worth it :-)
I put a bit of superglue and hot glue on the connectors to make sure they stay in place.
I added the .step file, it includes the text of the lid in a way that it can be printed with a multi-color printer like the Bambulabs. If you don't have that, use the provided .stl - files, where I extruded the text as part of the lid.
I hope you have fun building and printing it :-)
