The mainboard fan is annoyingly noisy on the SV08 (not to mention the other fans, but a different topic), so I installed a quiet fan with a buck converter and hoping the best, but it did not change dramatically. I was searching for the real cause and find out the fan is screwed to a big metal plate, which amplitudes the sound, like a guitar body.
I have designed these simple bungs, what You just print (4pcs) from 95A (or softer) TPU, with 0,6mm wall, no bottom, no top. Simply forget the screws, pull these bungs through the screwholes and You are done. You cannot notice the fan noise anymore. Might help a lot with the original fan though.
