I grew tired of pinching my hand on the split handle after a day or two. Added this single part but two sided reinforcement to add better grip and stability to the basket instead of throwing it away.
I did have to make pilot holes through the original plastic basket with a 3mm drill bit.
I used a 3mm washer and M3 to pull the nut in for each hole on one half of the handle. Then used the 8mm screws to pull the two sides together. I did not curve the handle, the may have been better but this did what I needed to get done. 😊
