Modified the Samson components to work with more original YEHW parts.
Also included a barrel and top rail for cut down 8cm long MXL darts (they perform better).
I super super recommend printing the shorter barrel and cutting darts, it makes MXL darts less like random shotgun rockets, and more like big heavy bullets. Way more accurate.
Files you need from the original YEHW:
- Grip (left and right)
- Griddle
- Trigger
- Cammer parts
You will need all the hardware required by the Samson + some extra screws for the handle.
You can use a standard YEHW kit, it has everything you need + some extra: https://silverfoxindustries.shop/products/captain-slug-yehw-hardware-kit (I believe silverfox is the only one selling full kits)
Hardware needed:
- 22x 4-40 screws (easy to search for)
- 2x dash 131 o-rings (McMaster-Carr, OOD)
- 2x ¼" OD 0.091" ID ¾" long nylon unthreaded spacer (McMaster-Carr)
- 1x 2 ½" k25 spring (McMaster-Carr, SF)
- 1x 2" OD 4" long plunger tube (McMaster-Carr, OOD)
- 1x 3/32" elastic ~6" long (easy to search for)
I recommend printing with 5 walls and 20% gyroid infill for all of the parts but the plunger, conrod, and cammer, those should be 100% infill.
