Was in such a mood one morning…
So this is my favorite combination of cursing, dark humor and sarcasm object around the house these days.
Printed with 0.2 mm layer height ( highly recomendable to achieve correct color displacements ) with 2 top layers of white on the inside of the volume to get the right diffusion of the LEDs. The ‘’inlays'' are 0.4 mm thick, so 2 layers of color filament are being printed for each color. Set manually filament change on layer 3 and layer 5, that's the white diffusion layer on the inside of the volume. From the 6th layer on it's wall, you chose what color you will use there.
Supports are needed only for the lid with the battery compartment.Also its nice to have the inside of the lid, whether flat or with the battery box,white, again light diffusion issue, so i recommend change to white at layer 8 if slicing on 0.2 mm layer.
On these small light boxes i use packs of battery-powered LEDs that can be bought from LIDL under the brand Livarno, also included lid without battery compartment for just glue it, or hard-wire it with another type of lightning, or just leave it without any.
When slicing i used different preset color filaments, as Creality Print recognizes when the color has to be changed and parks the print automatically.
