I bought a pair of Topeak VersaCage luggage carriers to mount on my front forks. Before I could mount them my bike was stolen and the replacement only came with one available mounting bolt on each side of the fork due to differing spacing and existing accessories.
I needed a solution in a hurry and this is what I came up with.
There are two models as the disk brake means that the way they need to be mounted is different on each side. I printed them in PLA with enough perimeters to make them solid. I then spray painted them for UV protection. They have lasted one light tour with no signs of wear. Presumably printing in a different material could be a good idea but I don't plan to put that much weight on my fork anyway.
