A lightweight and sturdy case for Mindbug game, held together securely with a couple of 6×3mm magnets.
CAUTION! The size of the included models are designed for a combined Base set AND First Contact Add-On Pack. If you want to have a fitting case for different amount of cards, make sure to modify the models to suit your needs. The models were created in onshape, and the workspace can be found here.
Print instructions
- Orient the parts on the build plate with flat side down
- Print in PLA
- No supports needed
- The models have space for a total of 8 magnets (four in the base, four in the cover), size 6mm × 3mm. Depending on the strength of the magnets you have you may find it sufficient to use less magnets, for me just 4 magnets was enough.
- Glue the magnets in place using super-glue (or equivalent). Pay close attention to polarity.
- To achieve the same effect as on the photos, use “fuzzy skin” option in the slicer
