I designed a snap in cover that protect a drip irrigation straight splices. These work with RainBird brown 1/2 drip tubing straight splices.
The purpose for creating these was that I keep breaking these with a string trimmer when there are weeds around the drip line. The splices have a spline that is protruding and easy to break off, which creates a massive leak. The cover will prevent the trimmer line from hitting that spline and it makes easier to spot the splines.
You can print them in the orientation provided with 100% infill. I used PETG since they will be exposed to the elements.
