I broke the internal part of the Nose gear for my EC-1500 (the grey part inside the battery bay), and the part is o back order for 5 months, so I decided to try to building a replacement; this is the result
I did some improvements, including instead of having just the “ear” on the left side of the it (to connect the arm toward the servo), I added 2 in opposite to each other. This have the advantage of allowing you to use either a reverse or a normal servo to control the nose gear and have the gear operate as expected (pointing in the same direction of the ruder when you need to turn)
I created this on Tinkercad, so is not beautiful, but is functional and is working fine for me.
I did use the rest of the parts of the gear, as they were not broken, and they fit well
I added pictures of the original piece from the manufacturer site, and also pictures of the printed and installed replacement (yellow print)
in my case, I printed on Prusa PETG, I Printed at different qualities from 0.28mm to 0.08mm, all of them fit. I am currently using the 0.08mm with 35% infill (triangles), But you most probably can print it with other parameters
