This is still Work in Progress!
I have been working on and off for about a year on this. I am still not nearly finished and honestly I don't know if I ever will.
I will be uploading the code for the electronics on github, so anyone can help develop this.
I am not a CAD-Designer nor a Software-Engineer, so this will probably need much work and a code refactor, but it is working right now.
Currently it shows the time, temperature, phone battery and network status (mostly), Spotify playback and incoming notifications.
I am planing on adding intercom battery as well and adding a ambient light sensor for auto brightness.
At the beginning I wanted to also have things like navigation information, maybe even speed limits and more information from some apps i use. However I quickly relized that I am not advanced enough in Android developement to make this work.
The companion app is also only available for Android, because i don't do IOS developement at all.
I am open to someone doing a ios version however.
WARNING: Hardware V1 currently has a hardware “Bug”. I did not use a gpio pin for the screen reset. On my ESP dev-board this did not cause any problems, but with the finished board with an esp32-s3, the screen has some problems initializing. I am planing to fix this in a v2.
