This is a simple and sturdy key tray with cutouts for rubber feet. I also sized it to fit a little car dashboard rubber mat I had lying around (around 10in), so it softens the impact of keys being thrown haphazardly :)
I'm including the STEP file as well if you need to size it to your own rubber mat. This was designed in OnShape.
