This is a replacement for broken inner door hook in my Whirlpool UW8 F2Y WBI F 2 freezer.

Original part has a “latch” on a long, thin (1mm thick) leg. Thin leg bends when pressed by the door and then latches when the door are completely closed. After some time this leg broke and I couldn't close shelf's door.
For that reason I decided to design the replacement, adjusting leg thickness in hope of prolonging element's life. At the base, where the bending happens, leg is 2mm thick, narrowing down to 1,5mm at the latching part. Also the rounding at the base of the leg is wider than in original part.
Walls of the original part are a bit less than 90* against the bottom and top, but the difference is so small that I have ignored it and extruded at 90*. The rest of the dimensions is transferred from original as best as I could.
Printing tips
I have printed both left and right parts with PrusaSlicer settings:
- ABS
- 3 perimeters
- 0,15mm quality layer
- 25% infill
- top to bottom orientation on the print bed
- organic supports in the screw hole and under the hanging elements
Result is a bit ugly where the supports were, but can be easily polished with a file.
