I've had a lot of fun with the Gnarl, but found that the spring inside was too strong for the single finger ring pull it comes with to be comfortable for more than a couple minutes of use. So I designed this larger ring pull to slot into the existing one, giving space for two fingers and allowing a much more comfortable prime. There's probably a more elegant way to do this, but given that I've never done 3D modeling before I'm happy with the result.
The print is designed to fit very snugly together, and is intended to not come apart once it has been assembled. You will almost certainly need a hammer to get the parts together. If they still don't fit you may need to either scale up the cap print to be larger or to add in a tolerance to the holes in the step file.
The models are pre-oriented and should be printed with supports. This is to maximize the strength of the part and reduce the chance of the print failing at a layer line under use.
The step file of the model has been provided so you can adjust the size of the pull as needed, the current size is based on my fingers so if yours are larger you'll need to adjust the length of the rods and possibly the bars. Simply scaling the model in a slicer won't work, as that will make the block that engages with the original pull too big to fit.
