I hope you like it!
For painting i just primed it, then got a black matt paint and finished with gold on the bottom.
If you want to drink from it i recommend using a clear varnish spray paint useable for child toys. Otherwise you can also use 2 component epoxy to seal the inner part of the cup. This should work just fine as well.
